Android v iPhone by Cities

Real estate service Trulia has used its data based on smartphone access to its mobile applications to illustrate the share of mobile OS use by city and placed it in this interactive infographic. Based on the data, the  iPhone is more popular in most cities and only has a large share in four cities.

As pointed out by Fast Company  the data is surprising because current sources say Android phones are outselling iPhones.

This may be the reason: commenters on the Fast Company post point out that Trulia’s app for iPhone has been released far longer before the Android version, and the data was taken just after the Android version was out (ie: take data with a grain of salt, Android’s share may be much greater).
