New York City Gridded Streets Map: Now and Then

To commemorate the 200th anniversary of New York City certified the map proposing the grid street network for the City, the New York Times posted a story on how the map spurred the development of the City of Angled Streets.

The story includes an interactive map that compares the original grid map to the City’s current streets. It is almost identical, except for the massive park in the center.
