Cars Take Money out of Cities’ Economies

This infographic makes the case that the more cars a city has, more money leaves the local economy. Americans spend an average of $8,485 per year on their cars. $7,095 of that leaves the local economy.  According to the data, if a city reduces car ownership by 15,000 cars, $127,275,000 will stay in its local economy.
